Parks are generally properties which have been acquired by the park district.
Individuals who help create parks contribute for many reasons, and in many ways.
A charitable remainder trust is one way, a gift through one's will is another; and
there are more solutions which are too lengthy to discuss here. Future generations
benefit from this generosity when "greenspace" as we know it is preserved in parklands.
